Another Scratch brew from Josh, thanks woman.
12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip.
Pours a light rustic orange with a one finger egg white head. Nice lacing on the sides with various sized bubbles on top. Aroma is a very nice blend of evergreen and clementine oranges. A light malt base in the nose as well. Taste is very chinook up front, piney and fresh. Midway the centenial take over with a crisp orange rind flavor. Aftersate is a touch biscuity with a floral finish. Medium to fuller body for an IPA with a mild carbonation, probably the one minor flaw with this beer. Wouldn't guess the 7.7% abv, although the alcohol is a noticable at times. Very tasty IPA, but I could see the folks that drink only West Coast IPA's not liking this one because of the noticable chinook. But me, I love a little Christmas tree in my beer :) Thanks again Josh.
