Review from 12/09/06
A - Pours a big fizzy head that recedes quickly. White and soapy looking. Body is a clean garnet with loads of tight bubbles racing to the surface.
S - Wow, this smells sweet. Honey carries a lot of weight here. Also present are cherries in a bundance with some christmas spice backing it up.
T - Yum. Rich and fruity. Cherries are the biggest component here. Candy sugar and a bit of xmas spice (cloves for sure). Warming alcohol gradually comes on, making this a great winter beer. Warms the tummy.
M - Medium full bodied. Smooth. Very nice feel going down.
D - For a "big" beer, this one goes down very nice. Another great brew from Troegs.

pours a dark amber, with no head. Really fizzy pour that jsut fades into nothing. Smell is decent. Some spices. Taste is good, matls, nice blend of some spices. Very easy to drink. Solid brew.
