Serendipity No. 2 by Tree Brewing
Black & Tan
5.00 % ABV

Serendipity is our whiskey barrel aged beer, aged in our cellar for over 100 days in whiskey and port barrels. Each brew number discovers new tasting profiles that is reflective of the style of beer used and blending done to each batch of beer. We hope you enjoy our Serendipity series of beers as much as we have enjoyed exploring and pushing the boundaries of beer.

Pours out a rootbeer color. Turns to a brownish red when held up to light. 1/2" of head that settles quickly with a bit of lacing. I get mostly vanilla and caramel sweetness in the nose. Can`t tell which beer they chose to age from the smell. Alcohol is present at the start, I really can`t tell what type of beer it is, as it`s masked by the whiskey taste. There isn`t much depth to the beer at all. Just whiskey. Almost too overpowering. Little thin in the mouth.

I worked my ass off to get the first and second editions of this beer. I won`t be going out of my way to find it again.
