A - Pours out a dark ruby color that barely lets any light in, with 1/2 inch of head that hangs around.
S - Lots of raspberries and chocolate up front. Not much else going on here that I can detect, but my nose is a little plugged as well.
T - Raspberries up front, fading into chocolate and roasted malt. Not much for after taste. Goes down smooooth.
M - A little on the light side. Could use a little more thickness. Carbonation is great.
O - Tree comes through again with a solid brew. I would like to see them brew this in 12oz bottles, like the Spy Porter, as having more than 1 glass of this could prove to be a bit much for the taste buds. Would like a little more in the nose as well. Can't smell the roasted malt at all. This is my second time having this. First was on tap @ Doc Willaby's in Kelowna. I think it might be a bit better out of the bottle. I'll have to go back and get it again to compare.
