Bromigo Smoked Maple Amber by Three Heads Brewing Inc.
American Amber / Red Lager
7.00 % ABV

Sometimes things go together so well,
one wonders what life was like before it
- like peanut butter and jelly, hippies
and patchouli. With that in mind, we at
the 3HB lab have created the Bromigo,
bringing together smoked malts and maple
syrup, amber ale and spicy hops, bold
flavor and a sweet finish. It just goes
together like Bro and Amigo. Enjoy

Poured from a 22oz. bottle into a pint glass.

The color is a clear amber with a finger and a half of brownish foamy head and some nice lacing left on the glass.

The smell is malty with some slight maple aroma in the nose and some interesting sweetness that makes me wanting to move forward to the first sip.

The taste is has a nice smoky flavor that comes out in the first sip. There is some maples flavor there as well and reminds me slightly of a London porter. There is some nice dark malt-like flavor that is a little charred-dough with some sweet maple and the smallest amount of bitterness toward the end.

The feel of this beer is bigger then i had first anticipated. There is a nice complex flavor here that is interesting and helps amber ales shine a bit in my mind. This is certainly a beer that is early in the day big beer and something that could be something to have even at breakfast with an omelet or some eggs.
