22 oz bottle I picked up from Hop City in Atlanta. wasn't going to do it, but Kraig sold me on it like he tends to do. Served this one up in my Dogfish Head shaped pint.

A: Pours up a dark orange colored body with light amber tones where the glass is at its thickest. Held to the light, it comes out as more of a medium to light orange in color with still some amber hues to it. This beer is a bit hazy and has a nice active carbonation moving around in there. The pour got me about 2.5 fingers of head that slowly fades to a complete top cap. It mostly fades because it is sticking all over the glass. Copious amounts of sticky lace all over the glass. Good looking brew.

S: As the cap is removed, the hops start pouring out. Lots of grapefruit and citrusy malt just going to work and filling the air. Things get a bit more tropical with some pineapple goodness. Picking up on some notes of some pine resin. This beer is all hops in the nose and its nice, but the intensity of the aroma fades really quick. I mean much quicker than most DIPAs. Still very appetizing.

T: Really hoppy and tasty. Nice and pungent, intense hops bringing out some bitterness and sweetness. Stays mostly tropical with some grapefruit (meat, rind and skin) and pineapple. Pine comes out along with a bit of floral as well. Lemon and orange mix things up. Slightly biscuity malts are just there because they need to be, adding just a little bit of sweetness and body. Dig it.

M: Medium bodied with a nice medium carbonation. Hoppy and bitter on the palate. Sticky . . . oh so sticky. Really coats the mouth and lingers forever. Very nice. This one lets you know what the hops are all about. Aftertaste is all grapefruit rind and skin.

OA: Down with it. Very drinkable even with the intensity of the hops. Maybe I am just now fully converted to hop head, but this is tasty and easy drinking. Refreshing and worth the experience. Will absolutely have this beer again.
