Pale dusty gold hue with a small compact lingering white foam the keeps its seat well and tons of lace coats the glass.
Aroma of light white peppery spice twisted with a dull citrusy notion of lemon marmalade and lemon grass. Biscuity malts underneath. Closing in on a good Pils type nose.
Solid taster! Firm, sturdy tones of peppy spice to start, peppery spicey hoppyness with pale malts adding a somewhat salted cracker or biscuity underside with some hints to butter and honey sweetness. Nice lingering finish of floral spice, drying ale yeast, spruce mint, and dusty, fluffy hoppyness. Damn nice. Quite complex with a simple subtlty that pulls together very well.
Body is a slender yet firm, crisp, and peppy medium body. Nearly creamy in its malted, light sweet nature, while keeping a big puff of yeast, spice, and hops always brimming at the edge and lasting in the finish.
Even with its complexity and firm spicey tone, its smoothness over takes most of its fulfilling drinkability. Making for an easy drinking experience that will be enjoyed to the end of each empty glass. Another solid link in the Unchained series by Summit. Keep 'em coming!
