On-tap at the Happy Gnome: Super pale gold color with a nice medium stacking of dense, fluffy white foam that keeps for a decent laying for a tap pour. Lacing is spotty at best.

Aroma is a bit weird with a tepid lemon dish soap moderately mixing with a paled orange/lemon candish malt that trys ever so hard to get a sweet side to it, but never quite makes it over the soapyness. A bit of peppery dry spice floats about within certain wiffs.

Taste is exactly the same as what the nose warns ya for. Weirdly tepid lemon dish soap wrapped up in a duller then dull lemony/orange citrus candy coating underneath. Partailly spicy with a bit of pepper and yeasty. Hard to get past its soapy dispositon though for me. Even the folks at the Gnome weren't in favor of it all that much.

Feel is fairly thick and malty, moderately mild carbonation with a tint of grab and spicy dryness. Getting past the soapy, half waxyness is hard to do with an entire pint of the stuff.

I had a hard time with this one. Reminds me of their hefe in a lot of ways, with a kinda soapy citrusyness that just doesn't add up in the musky department enough for me to like it.

A - Pours a light straw color with a ton of tiny bubbles rising to the surface. Obviously filtered with no haze to it. Big white head that's clumpy on the ton. Great retention.

S - Very faint. Slight belgian yeast and spiciness. Coriander. Orange peel. Wheat.

T - Light wheat flavor with a nice belgian yeastiness to it. Coriander, cardamom and orange peel. Citrus zest.

M - Light bodied and easy going.

D - This isn't anything superb, but was just what I was looking for on this hot summer afternoon. Light, easy to drink, thirst quenching brew.
