A slow gusher. That's cool, I can dig that in my Saisons.
A deep caramel color with a frothy, meringue/cloud like head that just won't quit. This one has me already. Lively.

Aroma is sweet, country-dusty and reeks of sweaty leather. Makes my tongue sweat with anticipation. Fruity - orange zest, green apple, lemons and cantaloupe. Earthy. Musky. Like. It.

Shiiiit, this is way more hoppy than the nose lead me to believe - grapefruit. Bready, and with a good pinch of spice (mostly pepper). Ample dose of farmyard funk keeps this thing going. Lingering bitter finish.

Carbonation is abrasive, but in a good way. Dry and astringent. Mouthfeel is way bold, but works well, overall.

Classic Farmhouse Ale. Refreshing and challenges the senses... if there is one drawback, it would be the balance between the nose and taste. Aroma says malt, taste says hops. Whatever. Funk all over this Saison... I could only wish to have a fridge stocked with this for the upcoming summer. Big, bold classic Saison - yes please.

Thanks again Beandip!
