G.F.Y Stout by Spiteful Brewing
American Double / Imperial Stout
8.00 % ABV

GFY STOUT attacks your nose with a healthy dose of roasted barley. The assault continues to your taste buds as you pick bitterness not only from the barley, but from FUGGLES and a hint of CASCADE HOPS.
Our ABRASIVE BEAR is there to remind you that sometimes the best thin to say is GFY!

(Served in a tulip glass)

A- This beer pours an inky black body with a thick creamy coco tan head that fades to a thick ring. It is a bit too dense to see any carbonation.

S- The big earthy black roasted malt has some green woody hops aroma to follow.

T- The smooth flavor grows to a full rounded black malt character with some coffee roasted malt and mellow charcoal notes that linger through the aftertaste. There is no real bitterness but a nice fuggle green hop flavor in the finish that supports the malt nicely.

M- The medium mouthfeel has a gentle alcohol warmth and a nice thick texture in the finish.

O- This beer is full of nice big dark roasted flavors but is is very drinkable and a nice hop support with clean yeast. The alcohol is well hidden making this a nice solid stout with English and American qualities.

Served In: Tulip
