Bitter Biker by Spiteful Brewing
American Double / Imperial IPA
9.60 % ABV

Cyclists Beware! This city is a mine field: potholes, ruthless cabbies, pedestrians texting - and a headwind from hell. Arm yourself! This Double India Pale Ale was brewed for you. Loaded with Zythos, Columbus, and Falconer’s Flight 7c’s hops. Bitter Biker is our hommage to the trials of the year round biker. Ride safe, stay bitter, and watch out for oblivious fools!

Batch #6
(Served in a tulip glass)
A- This beer pours a clear slightly dense deep aged copper body with a bubbly light beige head that last a good bit.

S- The new sneakers aroma blends with pithy hops and a slightly sweaty earthy quality that turns into a buttery toast aroma as it opens.

T- The big bitterness stings the tongue and lingers for a good bit after each sip. There is a light toasted dry malt flavor that turns a bit more caramel when it opens and some buttery diacetyl follows. Some minty and pine qualities to the hops come through as it warms but the bitter dandelion milk hops still bite after each sip.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with no real alcohol heat but it does have a bit of a slippery texture as it opens.

O- The big pithy sweaty beer has a bit too much bitterness without much hop flavor or aroma and not enough malt support. There are some sweaty, buttery flavors that are off but they don’t detract from the bitterness.
