Old Review

Got a six pack of this at Grub Mart in J'ville for $9.19. Poured into a goblet.

A: Poured a beautiful golden yellow. A vigourous pour yielded a nice bubbly head, that didn't last long. Now lasting rings, no lacing, but its a summer lager. Carbonation streams constantly shooting up the glass. Very good for the style.

S: Floral hops and malt.

T: The hops hit you first but barely before the malt evens it out. It has some sweetness to it that may come from the grains. Got an oh so slight fruity faintness to it. Very nice.

M: Good carbonation that makes this beer perfect for summer. Clean and crisp. Very nice.

D: Can't think of a better summer beer at the moment. Nothing to strong or complex, but you can put em back and not have a heavy feel. Very nice brew.

Color of light golden pale yellow with a fluffy white head that fades to a ring and lots of whispy lacing. Smell is faint, crisp, yeast & wheat notes and soft fresh malts, a bit of musty grass or old water logged wood also noted in the aroma. Taste is more of the same, smooth at first, clean, fresh, soft malts, picks up some light hops of herbal quality near the middle and ending with a short crispness that holds some yeast & wheat-like features through into the finish; which is very nice. Solid finish. Feel has a smooth start and picks up some fullness in texture midway and into the finish. This is a pleasing, simple, easy drinkin' beer. Perfect for a summer refresher.
