Deep mahogany pour casting pure ebon in the glass. Lofty, tall, and thick dark tan crown grows quickly upon the top, Fluffing down to create a solid collar ring and some sifting skim. Inky lacing is iced across the glass.
An all encompassing darkly fruity, malt enduced wiffer. Deep, complexing aroma of dark rummy, port-like chocolate and molasses dashed with bold warmth, dark cherry, dates, raisin, and prune. A effervescence, or ghostly whisper, of mint within the heat can be found as it lowers into the glass.
Dense, dark, thick, malty gooey taster. Think Doppelbock meets Russian Imperial Stout. Big malt on the dark fruity front with massive, coarsing, dark molasses, and a slew of dark fruity thickness of prune, dates, and raisin. Then super dark and deep, yet mild, chocolatey bitterness ensues into the finish where the hops, all 14 varieties of them, obviously? Make their impression amongst the malt as it cinders late with late palate soaking warmth that's dark and rummy/port-like. Yum!
Thick, bold, creamy, dense, lush, forwardly full body. Lots of warming attributes that say the same things as ports and dark rum does. Damn dark, wonderfully warm, tongue tangled tangy, and grows greatly as it shifts into the finish. Woohf-da! Wholey mackerel! Fourteen definately has 14% as you get thru it. But really not. Dangerously drinkable and incredibly mind scrambling yummy!
