Pours a dullish clear lightened scarlet orangey coppered red color. Grows a smallish capping of off-whitish/sandy hued creamy textured foam that slips away fairly quickly and doesn't keep much activity nor lacing.

Aroma is much like fresh cinnamon rolls with a tender sweetness of bready malt and pumpkin spice with a rounded touch of nutmeg and pie crust. Nice and pleasingly clean with an ample supply about its noseyness.

Taste is nicely rounded and balanced with tender chewy bready sweetness and a quiet, yet snappy little pick-up punch of pumpkin and cinnamon spice dusted within and carries a good length of flavor and tone the whole way through. Great finish of delicate spice and warmth with a super airy, light pie crust and cinnamon dryness.

Tender, soft medium-fullish body, semi filling and bold with a simple chewy creamyness as it lightly warms in the finish with a bit of the cinnamon peppered about in some airy dryness.

Shipyards' Pugsley's Signature Series Smashed Pumpkin Ale is a mouthfull to say and it's actually backed up with a mouthfull of yummy brewed pumpkin spice, sweetness, and warmth.
Very "smashing" solid stuff.
