12 oz bottle thanks to Goliath. Poured into a shaped pint glass.
A: This poured a beautiful orange/amber with a huge 2 inch head. The head was extremely fluffy and sticky. Had great lacing with amazing stickiness. Just a great looking IPA.
S: Smell is of oranges, citrus and floral hops, caramel malt. The orange is so dominant and goes really well with the supporting aromas.
T: Taste is of caramel malt, floral hops, a touch of spice and just a bit of orange. Kinda strange considering the nose. I really wanted more citrus after smelling this baby, and there could be some more bitterness here also. Still this just means this is a well balanced brew that is quite tasty.
M: A medium bodied brew that is amazingly creamy. This stuff really sticks to the mouth and lets the flavor come out. Carbonation is just right.
D: Pretty damned good beer. The creaminess is quite impressive and really adds to the appeal of this brew. Very nice and no hint of that 8% ABV. Pick em up and slam em down.
