A - Pours dark brown thin looking body. Bubbles can be seen rising to the top and clinging to the sides of the glass. Small tan head with decent retention.
S - Dark roasty, toasty malt is at the forefront here, with a touch of chocolate peeking out.
T - Very much like the smell here. Dark toasted malt at the forefront with a little coffee-like bitterness. Baker's chocolate shows itself slightly, and slightly more as it warms.
M - Medium bodied, slightly thin for the style. Carbonation gives the tongue a bit of a tickle.
D - Nothing to write home about here. Sand Creek really only does their IPA well, imo.
