A nice looking hazey peach color. Finger high head of firm and frothy foam of off-whitish hue. This was served in a frosted mug at Old Chicago and it was hard to determine what the lacing was doing but there was a nice froth always present.

Pretty good aroma of soft pine, kinda resembled a balsalm wood character along with some nice rounded citrusy stuff twisted in of grapefruit and dulled lemon.

Taste is good, not overly hoppy really, but well-balanced in nature with a solid rendition of some softer pineyness matched well with a decent caramel malting. Quite creamy in taste and body while maintaining a nice hoppy tone of pine and firm notings of citrusy red grapefruit. Clean finish, nothing to bitter on the end other then a bit of pine resin and a portion of citrusy peelyness.

Nice creamy body thats just shy of medium with a nice maltyness to it, yet has a hoppy fluffyness and tone thoughout that lasted well and demanded more drinking. And so it goes, this is very drinkable and refreshing. Could have more complexity in the hops, but overall a pretty solid IPA.

A: Sort of the color of dried peaches with a lot of haze. The head is really minimal with a few stray streaks of off white bubbles.

S: Super grapefruity hops, unripe pears, some caramely orange, watermelon in the highs and dry biscuits.

T: Begins with watery caramel, old tangerine and a bit of grapefruit. The flavors fall flat really quick, leaving some pine like bitterness in the back sides of the tongue. Little bit of lingering buttery orange around the center of the palate. And that’s it.

M: Medium body with a hard mouthfeel.

D: Not bad. Starts nice but falls on its face too fast.

ated Sept, Week 1 so I guess it's fresh.

A - Pours a light orange colored body with lots of sediment in it. One inch, bright white head made up of mostly tight, uniform bubbles. Decent retention with an eigth of an inch staying atop.

S - Hmmm...where are the hops here. Don't smell a whole lot of them and this is an IPA right? Biscuity malt are at the forefront. A sort of toasty smell.

T - Ok, there is more hops here, but they still seem to be an afterthought. Starts with some slightly citrusy, fruity hops. Quickly moves over to the malt side of the bill, bringing a big biscuity taste. Finish and aftertaste are of toasted white bread.

M - Medium bodied. Carbonation is ok.

D - This one just doesn't seem like an IPA at all. It would be a malty pale ale even. It isn't a bad beer, but when I see IPA on the label, I expect to taste some hops.
