A: Cloudy apricot colored brew with some really slow moving bubbles. Head is a good inch tall, sudsy oatmeal colored bubbles.
S: Smells nice and fresh. Little bit of fruity aromas, really minor caramel and some earthy dirtiness? Must be the juniper berries.
T: Starts out mildly malty with hints of butterscotch and raw bread dough. The juniper berries are present but really subdued, adding just a touch of roughness to an otherwise smooth beer. They are really present in the aftertaste, mixing with the alcohol well. Finishes little bit dirty and cloying.
M: Medium body with a lot of fizzy carbonation sting.
D: This certainly isn’t one of my favorite Rogue beers. I appreciate the attempt but would pass in the future.
