Had this on tap at The Happy Gnome on 08/16. Reviewed from notes.A - Dark brown body with a bit of a garnet tint to it. Very clean with no haze to speak of. Small tan head from the pour is no longer. Reduces to a thicker than normal ring around the glass on the surface.
S - Big fruity aroma. Strawberry and light marachino (sp?) cherry. Nice amount of hops that are both floral and lightly citrusy. Deep caramel malts with a burnt quality to it.
T - Starts off with sweet strawberry, light black cherry, and caramel malts. Lightly hoppy with a big bitterness. The hops seem to subside a bit with every sip. Slowly moves into a burnt malty bitterness that last through the finish and into a short aftertaste.
M - Medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
D - Very drinkable, multidimensional beer. Menu said something about a 15th anniversary with this beer, which doesn't make sense to me.
