Color is medium orange/amber. Smell has citrus hops big time, with grapefruit and orange rind all over the place. Taste has nothing but bitterness up front. Too bad they never tell you this beer is bitter. Bitterness doesn't stick around all that long before you get back to that feeling of chewing on an orange or grapefruit rind. Feel is medium.
Overall, this is a good bottle. If you like the Bitter or ESB style, then you'll like this West Coast version of it. And this is exactly that - a West Coast ESB. Loads of citrus bitterness.

Poured from bottle into standard pint glass.
A - Bright orange color. One finger head made up of tight bubbles disappears slowly.
S - Raw citrusy hops. Tangerine and orange. Slightly piney.
T - Piney bitterness up front. Fades quickly with only a bit of citrus in the middle. Slight aftertaste of hops, but nothing huge. Light malt.
M - Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation.
D - Good beer, but not great. Solid session brew I would think.
