Had this on a "drive by" stop-in the other day. I also debated with a friend whether Revolution was "close to" Armitage Ave in Chicago. I said it wasn't THAT close. He said it was. He was right (2323 N Milwaukee is the address).

Anyway, this one was a pleasant session ale. The color was dark-ish, couldn't really tell since I didn't look too closely. The smell was actually more muted than I figured. But you got very very mild hints of malty sweetness and a slight toffee-like "snap" to it. Taste was exactly as I expected --- very drinkable, nothing overwhelming, and just slightly sweet, as the smell hinted. Feel was great, if somewhat thin, but again that was expected.

Overall, this one hit the spot very well. Recommended if you are looking for a fantastic starter at the Revolution brewpub.
