Anti-Hero IPA by Revolution Brewing
American IPA
6.50 % ABV

An American hop assault for all the ambivalent warriors who get the girl in the end. “Look, I ain't in this for your revolution, and I'm not in it for you, Princess.” This iconic ale features a blend of four hop varieties which creates a crisp bitterness and imparts massive floral and citrus aromas.

A- This beer pours a bright copper body with a light tan head of cream that last a good bit and a gentle carbonation.

S- The fresh green hops have a nice pine aroma in the finish.

T- The pale green pineapple weed hops is full with some pale malt notes underneath and a nice raw grain note comes through as it opens. A nice hop pungency lingers for a bit after each sip.

M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel with a gentle fizz and no alcohol heat noticed.

O- This beer has a nice full hop flavor with some good pungency and just enough bitterness to support the hops but not overpower them.

A- Just a touch of haze sets off this golden yellow body with a thin white film that last a good long bit. There is a gentle carbonation of tiny bubbles that glide to the surface.

S- A nice green earthy hops is fresh growing a bit as it warms but still stays pretty mellow.

T- The green hops are slightly dry with some softer fruity hop notes coming through. A pine hop note comes through in the finish. There is a soft hop pungency that lingers but no real hop bitterness.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a gentle carbonation and no alcohol heat noticed.

O- This is a very drinkable IPA that goes down fast and quick. The hops are easy going but there is a nice depth and flavor to them without any big bitterness.

This is west-coast style IPA brewed in the Midwest. When had fresh, this IPA can rival and standard issue that comes out of San Diego.

Price: $9.00 Served In: Goblet
