From notes. Pours a lovely amber red with great clarity. Two fingers of creamy light tan head on top. Good active carbonation. Aromas kick in with smooth, crisp semi sweet malts with a fresh, vibrant hop kick. Herbal and slightly spicy with a touch of fruit and caramel.
First sip brings smooth, creamy semi-sweet malt upfront. Mild caramel and fruity notes. Bright herbal, spicy hops break in as it flows down. I get a cherry note as well. Some bitterness on the finish along with lingering malt flavors.
Great mouthfeel! Creamy, smooth and perfect carbonation. You honestly can't tell this is 10% abv. An intriguing wonderful tasty ale that was really unique. Cheers to Pretty Things.
