Unicorn's Revenge by Pipeworks Brewing Company
American Double / Imperial IPA
10.00 % ABV

The assassin of the east may have drawn first blood, but the mythical horned beast is back for UNICORN’S REVENGE. Grazing on fruity and floral New Zealand hops, this vindictive double IPA drives a horn through straight through the heart of any Ninja brazen enough to stand in the way of its peerless flavor. Behold! Beyond the piles of lifeless Ninja bodies a rainbow will rise, and on its breast, this rampaging beast of a beer will have its revenge!

A- This beer pours a slightly hazy deep copper body with a thick pale white head that is thick and supported by a sluggish carbonation of microbubbles.

S- The rich jammy green fruit cocktail aroma during the pour turns a spicy hop in the finish the aroma is rather fleeting.

T- The big pungent hop bite in the finish clings to the tongue in the after taste. There is some toasted malt hints that blend into the background and offer some support of the big hop flavor.

M- The medium-full mouthfeel has a warm alcohol heat that kicks up the bitterness level as it opens.

O- Nice hop aroma that fades pretty quickly and the taste is a full spicy pungent hops and alcohol heat blended together. There doesn’t seem to be much depth or hop flavor in the taste and it lessens as the beer opens.
