Flower Child by Pipeworks Brewing Company
Berliner Weissbier
3.50 % ABV

Pipeworks Flower Child is the groovy, free-spirited sister to the previous generations of berliner beauties. Naked as the day she was born, this free loving girl is pure and unadulterated. Take a taste and she’ll drop a tantalizingly tart acidity beside a refreshing wheat base. Simple yet so complex, this righteous girl promises a peak experience. Peace, love and Berliner Weisse. Can you dig it?

A- This beer ours a pale white peach color with a bit of hazy and a creamy snow white head that turns bubble. There is a sea of microbubbles racing to the surface. The second class is much hazier with a massive jetsam that looks like wet paper towels floating around. The second class was too slimy and chunky to drink.

S- The fruity tart note was mellow but bright and took on a nice dry honeycomb note as it opened up. There was a faint wheat dough hint to it aswell.

T- The nice tart crisp presents lead to a softer fruity tartness in the finish with a field corn note in the dry finish. There was a gentle hint of tartness lingering for a moment.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has no astringency at all with a gentle tight fizz scrubbing the finish.

O- This is a nice tart beer but is much softer than it’s Cousins from Berlinne. It has some nice flavor but I’m not sure a 3.4% ABV bomber is worth $10.00. It was also frustrating that I couldn’t even drink the second glass.

Price: $9.99 Served In: Pint Glass
