Great aroma coming off this thing. Super strong coffee/espresso flavor hits you right off. Some subtle vanilla in there but you have to look for it. The alcohol kick is there but not overbearing at all for 10.5%.

I really liked this beer but I have to say that it is really fits my flavor profile.

A- This beer pours an inky black body with a thick cocoa tan head that last a god bit with a top layer of thick bubbles.

S- The aroma of cold espresso ground has a slight capsicum note with some earthy dark roasted malt notes to follow.

T- The rich espresso has a slight spicy capsicum note to it with a black roasted malt flavor to follow. There is some chocolate nougat flavors that start to come through then a dry finish with some fruity ester hints leading to a mellow inky black malt flavor that lingers a bit.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a soft alcohol bite in the finish.

O- The coffee flavor does a very nice job of enhancing the stout. Very drinkable with a nice alcohol note complementing the dark black malt.
