Color is medium orange, slightly darker than a standard IPA. Smell has lots of hops and citrus. Just what I have come to expect from a "Left Coast" IPA. Almost smells like a low-end DIPA. Taste follows right along the smell. Lots of hops, some spices and a resin/pine taste. Again, the taste makes me think more of a DIPA than a regular IPA. Only a slight bitterness on the finish. Feel is slightly oily and resin. Sticky would be a good word for it.

Overall, this is a borderline IPA/DIPA in my opinion. Not knocking it for that, though, as I like both a lot. The hops shine through, as do all the good things that come with that -- citrus, resin, pine, slight bitterness. Maybe I'll just call this one an "unbalanced IPA". I still like it though.

Growler from, you guessed it looking at the other reviews, IntriqKen. Thanks!

A - Pours a nice orange colored body with a slight haze to it. Very little head on the pour and now just some whisps on the surface remain.

S - Big citrus hop aroma. Grapefruit with a bit of tangerine mixed in.

T - Hits up front with that herbal tea hop presence. These are very pronounced for a single IPA. Flavor reminds me some of the Oggi's Hop Juice. Big citrus bitterness then hit and lasts all the way through to the aftertaste. Some light bready malts mixed in.

M - Medium bodied with some sticky hop oils. Carbonation is fine and slightly tickles the tongue.

D - Good IPA. I would like to see the citrus stand out more than the herbalness, but that is just personal preference. More bitter than hoppy. Thanks again for the opportunity Ken.
