Picked up a sixer of this at the local Winn Dixie for 11.99 and then I was gifted another by a friend. Finally getting around to reviewing one. Served up in a standard pint.

A: The beer pours up a nice amber colored body. It is clear on the most part and held to the light it does not deviate much from the amber color. Poured up with almost tow fingers of off white head, it slowly faded toa thick ring. Just a touch of lace is sticking around. There was a cool effect when I poured the beer. The glass was consumed with tons of bubbles clinging to the glass, almost turning the beer a white hue. Interesting.

S: Smells like . . . almost nothing at all. All I am getting is a touch of caramel and pale malts. No spicy rye, no hemp, no hops. Just malt. Meh.

T: Almost the same thing as the nose. It comes across in the taste as a very well balanced beer. I mean there is almost no trace of hops. Getting a little bit of nuttiness from the hemp. Getting plenty of slightly sweet malt (caramel). Then it finishes with just a touch of spicy rye.

M: Lighter side of medium in body with medium high carbonation level. Finishes somewhat dry. Abv is not present whatsoever. Aftertaste is just a touch of rye and a good amount of malt.

OA: Its decent. I was expecting a more in your face kind of experience, but I got an incredibly well balanced beer. This is good and bad. On one hand I have a decently tasty, easy drinking beer. But on the other, I have a beer that kind of bills itself as something different, but falls short of anything different at all. Its good, have had no issue killing these, but I will not pay this much for this beer again. Just doesn't have that wow factor.
