Poured from bottle into tulip.

A - Beautiful dark brown color with a ruby red tint to it. Nice reddish white head.

S - Sweet malts. Dark fruit. Plums, raisins, cherries, and candy sugar.

T - Toasted malt. Light chocolate. Dark fruits from the scent - plums, raisins and cherries.

M - Medium bodied. Carbonation is a bit to biting for the style (maybe could use some age).

D - Good beer, just not great. No problem putting down the 750ml bottle.

Nice deep red beer that leaves about a 1/4 head that sticks around for a while.

Not getting a ton out of the smell except a sweet/fruity smell.

For the taste, I am not usually a huge belgian fan, but this one has an interesting taste. A sweet beer with a slightly fruity taste, this leaves a Bananna aftertaste. This beers taste starts to intensify as it warms up, starting to get much sweeter.

Light carbonation, nice on the tounge, aside from that "belgian" taste, it's a smooth beer.

I'd say this is one of the better belgian beers that I tried.
