Color is a chill hazed dark honey yellow, a bit lighter at the bottom of the glass. Slow carbonation bubbles in sparce amounts float around like snowflakes. A vigorous pour resulted in a thin white head thats fluffy and thick, fades fast to a thin ring and slow dripping spots of lace. Smell has a faint dulled tropical/dark fruity sense, red apple, pear, mango, pineapple, some light spicyness and yeasty sweetness. Plays fairly soft upon the nose, not to strong. Taste has a very smooth and mellow character with light flavors of dulled tropical-like fruits, mostly apple and pear, with some pineapple and lemon, light hops and fruity sharp sweetness and soft spice start to pick up about midway ending with a diminishing yeasty grab and sharp sticky, crispy finish. Feel is creamy and soft upfront and gains some body as it goes but some of the sweetness is a bit heavy coming through in the finish which lingers some with a ripe fruit skin feel. Not a bad drinker for a triple, pretty darn smooth and easy goin'. Perhaps a bit longer on the shelf could make this a nudge better and more complex.
