Muddled translucent iron orange placed over dark chestnut brown. Small statured, smoothly firm sandy brown top. Detains a whispy skim while at the edge it stays denser. Loose lacing drips back quickly only leaving small bands of dots.
Seemingly simple and one dimensional aroma of fairly abrupt acidicness to its overall tonality with a sweet and fresh resemblance to a vinaigrette spinach salad.
Easy going malted vinegar flavors to start. Big lime edge with trickles of lemon juice inducing the middle. Sweet potato, tart apple, and ketchup adds to the sourness. Prepare. First swallow is a brute. Rough and acrid with a sour drying tart earth. Pucker up and handle it, cuz its actually not half bad after a few more sips. Faint oakyness comes off the back end of the tartness. Tannins of tin, batteries, and vitamin coatings lurk about. Has a Lambic-like character with a less bolder arrangment on the tongue and tends to be a sweeter tooth after the tartness fades in the finish.
Gentle, lightweight, and easy carbonation. Keeps a sweetish tart tongue. Holds close to a medium body with one quick, yet hefty, return of sour grabbing bite on the swallow. Fades quite suitably off the palate with a feathery drying tone drifted with the tannin attributes and lemon juice parchness. Slow and sippy as it goes as its overall character is a mash of sour sensabilities. Really came into its own once it warmed up and after getting use to its intial sour shock. A fitting Flanders style concoction that is bound to please any sour devotee.
