Very clear light golden hay hue with a bright glow topped by a slim cap of starchy white foam. Some strings and spots of lace are flung about and stick to the glass.
Aroma is bright, crisp, and bountifully present with a spicy, zesty citrusy bouquet that zips with lemon and lime, mellows with orange, and softens with honeydew melon. Played in well is a brisk steady biscuity lightly sweet doughyness and a big pinch of white pepper and lemongrass.
Taste is mild yet active with a brisk snap of quick toned citric notions of lemon underscored with orange then quickly heads to its malt base as it gets lightly sweet with breadyness, dry bread crust, and lightly toasted biscuit. A small candyish lemony sweetness rides back late as it finishes with a floral flight that touches earthy bright spices and soft dryness.
Body is a lighter/medium bodied thats crisp, brisk, and quick fronted, loses its bite and girth in the middle and lightly drifts off into a fairly complex finish.
A big step up from Spotted Cow for a Summer sipper as its complexity is beneficially broader and tastier.
