Received this beer as an extra from gamanley god bless him! I’ve been dying to try this since I heard some Gandhi was sitting in Tequila barrels. Drank from my Stone India Pale Ale tulip.

Bottle: 243 of 713

Looks hand sealed

Appearance- Pours a fairly light yellow with a teeny tiny bright white head that dissipates very quickly. Not much of a cap is left but a thin collar and a bit of spotty lacing is left behind.
Smell- The tequila aspect in the nose is 100% unmistakable. The agave is potent and as is a sting of alcohol. There is a definite floral bouquet in the nose with hints of lilac and lavender. Maybe even a touch of bubblegum in there.
Taste- Starts with a fairly warm kick of booze and tequila that is unmistakable. The tequila is surprisingly bold and somewhat fruity. The beer isn’t overly bitter and the Gandhi Bot is all but gone in its current form. Like the nose, it has a fairly floral taste with lavender and agave tones. A touch of booze in the finish along with something that is slightly soapy like.
Mouthfeel- Pretty thin with not a lot of carbonation. Definitely the weakest part of the beer without a doubt.
Drinkability- Not too shabby. I laugh at the rest of the reviews because it seems to be a beer that you love or hate. I’m definitely sitting dead in the middle. It’s tasty but the tequila is very overpowering. If there was a bit more IPA and just a touch of Tequila, this thing would be a little better. But it is what it is and I did enjoy it. Very unique! Thanks Greg!
