Muted mars orange with a darkened honey brown center. Small, light tan capping of foam quickly laps away to leave a thin ring always present and few specks and spots of lace stick on the glass.

Aroma is slender and muted of dull toffee and speckled with lots of small notings to cinnamon, brown sugar, soft wood, tootsie rolls, and root beered vanilla.

Taste is moderately mellowed and softly tangy in a realm of muted raisin, toffee, cherry, dulled orange. A basic tangy soup of darker fruity malt that holds alot of figgy like tang and renders the rest of the noted things as it leads into a lasting tangy finish.

Body is a slight undertowed medium body missing a chewy, creamy factor that most Wee Heavy types really have and lacks a bit of length and any real character boldness other then its tangy presense that is nearly stamped into your palate with the might of full box of raisins or dried figs would do.

An OK brew for what its worth, but I'll stick to Moylan's hoppy brews instead of reaching for any more of this weakened attempt to lift my palate kilt.

Price: $6.50 Served In: Pint Glass
