Pours a hazy deep golden color with a good finger of off-white head. The foam settles to a small layer of white across to top of the brew and sticks to the walls of the goblet in beautiful lace pattern.

Smooth and creamy caramel malt aroma up front with a nice sweetness. Hint of alcohol. Citrus notes of lemon come through nicely even though this DIPA is over a year old. Just a small hint of wood in the aroma but almost unnoticeable.

Smooth malty body with low carbonation that fizzes just a bit on your tongue. Light caramel and then hoppy lemon notes. Barrel imparted a bit of woodsy astringency in the aftertaste. Nice light wine note in the aftertaste.

Easy drinking and still plenty of hop fruitiness coming through. Almost drinking like a light barleywine now but still light enough that you could have a couple and get yourself into some trouble as the alcohol isn't very apparent.

Price: $5.00 Served In: Goblet
