A - Dark chesnut brown, bordering on black body with chill haze to it. Little to no head, which is understandable given the barrel aging here. Slight whisps of bubbles on the surface with a ring around the glass.
S - Slight oakiness with charred wood and vanilla notes. Sweetness with toffee, molasses, honey and a slight hint of smoke.
T - Full flavored brew here. A huge mash of malty sweetness. Toffee and molasses with a slight smokey flavor. It's tasting almost exactly like the smell told me it would. Lots of vanilla and light flavors of boozy bourbon.
M - Full bodied, creamy, and super smooth.
D - The barrel aging definitely improved this beer, which is already rock solid. Probably my favorite of the barrel aged brews I had that day.
