This years version is different from previous years in that it is an IPA instead of the usual Pale Ale.

A - Pour produces a full inch of dense tan foam. Good retention along with super sticky lacing. Body is copper colored and clean, with streams of bubbles rising to the surface.

S - Big time citrus hoppiness. Definitely smells like this is made with Centennial hops. Grapefruit, bit of pine, tropical fruits. This has malt sure, but it isn't really showing itself. It's all about the hops.

T - Starts off a bit fruity with orange and grapefruity hoppiness. Quickly the hoppy tones turn off and it's on to the bitterness. Prickly bitter bite that attacks your tongue. Piney, citrusy at the same time. Malts are just sweet enough to bring a bit of a balance to it, but let's be honest this beer is not about malt. Hopheads rejoice.

M - Medium bodied, carbonation is a bit prickly, but that seems to go along with the big bitterness.

Overall - As usual, Town Hall makes another great Fresh Hop Ale. I will be buying another growler or two of this for myself.
