Review from 11/06/06

A - Pours a deep brown, slightly hazed, with lots of tight bubble action rising to the top. Starts with a nice looking, slightly off white head on top, which is now wisps on the surface with a ring around the edge of the glass.

S - Port wine, oak, dark fruit, and a tinge of maple syrup. Bready biscuity notes. Rum cake.

T - Dark fruit up front, raisins and plums. Oaky smoothness works into slightly boozy taste. Finishes clean. Rum cake is here, as noted in the smell. Super smooth.

M - Medium bodied with tight carbonation that tickles the tongue. Super smooth going down. Finishes clean for a Quad.

D - Well, one thing I will say is that this going down easier than any quad I have had before. Another great beer from Town Hall.
