750ml bottle from the always awesome ender. Served up in a tulip.

A: Pours up an apple juice, orange yellow color. Held to the light, it gets a bit more vibrant but the color pretty much holds. Body is crystal clear with a pretty active and steady carbonation activity. The pour got about a finger of loose, bubbly white head. Sadly, it had no retention and fades out almost completely. Just a couple light wisps of lace on the glass.

S: This beer has that big, funky, barnyard and sour aroma you expect from a tart beer. At times, it even has a smell reminiscent of when you open a bag of sour worm gummies. Smells like a treat. Behind all that sour and funk, there is a pretty clear lychee aroma. Smells as I imagined.

T: Well in flavor, it doesn't quite have the sour the name implies. It definitely has that wild yeast, funky, barnyard flavor. Tartness is mild but very pleasant. The lychee is all over this beer. It is blatant, slimy, fresh lychees. Slight wine grape and apple flavors come through at times along with a lemon lime soda quality. The oak comes through with just a light sweetness. Dig it just not as expected.

M: Light in body with a big and crisp carbonation. On the palate it brings some acidity, light tartness and sweetness. ABV is very mild for its size. Incredibly crisp and refreshing, finishes pretty dry. Aftertaste is all funk and lychee.

OA: Although not as tart and sour as expected, its still a very tasty brew. I am shocked how much lychee comes through. It comes across a little one note at times, but that one note is quite nice. Very refreshing and easy drinking considering the acidity is pretty mild for a sour. Enjoyable experience and hit the spot tonight.
