Heavily unfiltered foggy mud of burnt squash orange. Dense and tall capping of crusty ivory foam that crumbles down to a very heavy smik and tons of thick lacing coating the glass like paste.

Warm aroma of soft orangey highlights over caramel chews. A bit of leafy and floral hoppyness peeks as it sits.

Again, nicely soft taste and texture with a semi bold orangeish tone of darker citrusy things. Pith, peels, leaves, flowers, all dullishly effecting a light bready backing and caramel drizzling. Nice little finish of some leafy dryness, hop chalk bitterness, toasty orange notes, and woodish yeast.

Body has a nice floatingly smooth and soft texture about it. Fluffy and somewhere just after medium and before reaching full. The malt and hop balance is quite nice. Finishing as noted in the taste, with a little finishing dryness and bittering thats well under control with an overall soft current of fluffy smoothness.

A very likeable, drinkable, and balanced single hopped IPA. The craft of soft texture really holds its own and is perhaps a bit different from some of the more clean, crisp, snappy styled single hop brews that you find this time of year. Mikkeller really did make it there own here with this one and it shows. Looking forward to trying out the other single hopped brews in thier line up.

Price: $5.99 Served In: Pint Glass
