Pours a fairly clear medium golden color with a thick slightly off-white head. The foam settles slowly and leaves at least a finger of thick foam atop the beer. The walls of the glass are coated in thick layers of sticky lacing.

Smells of deep, rich caramel. Lots of smooth sweetness and a touch of toffee. More sweetness and a nice smooth wheat note. Some fruitiness with a touch of berry. Smells thick and the aroma is great.

Thick and super smooth body. Lots of malt and wheat sweetness. Delicious smooth and creamy caramel is the most prominent. Wheat malt and hops bring a great fruity flavor. Grapefruit and a touch of orange. So thick and rich with flavor but super drinkable. No sign of the 8.5% ABV in the aroma or taste (maybe a hint of the alcohol in the nose when it warms some more). Served up at 53º F. If you have it, this one is ready to drink. Great stuff.
