A - A careful pour still produces a healthy looking 1.5 inch tall head that is sort of light butter colored. Soapy from the sides and sort of has that look like it's breathing as it recedes a bit. Good retention and sticky lacing.
S - Sweet caramel and toffee along with some light fruitiness. Very light smoke aroma, probably some peat smoked malts in here.
T - Taste is much like the aroma. Starts off with some red fruits that aren't distinguishing themselves as one particular fruit. Very light toffee. Peat malt smokiness comes in, but much more prevelant than in the aroma. There's a smoky bite that hits at the finish, yet leads to a very clean aftertaste.
M - Medium bodied. Smooth carbonation.
Overall - Pretty nice Scottish Ale here. Nothing over the top in terms of flavor or complexity, but very enjoyable if straighforward brew.
