750ml capped bottle. Bottle No. 11604. BB 04/2021. Cap pops and the beer slowly works it’s way up the neck. A slow gusher. Poured into a St. Bernardus goblet glass. It’s a big big head, as expected with the slight gushing. Pale color. Aroma is moderately strong. Malty cracker, fresh hay, and herbal flowers. The Brett is present. Mouthfeel is not strongly carbonated like one would think for the slight gushing. A little thick for a lighter beer. Flavor has some fruity notes (Orange mainly) with some Belgian biscuit malts that are clean. There is a slight sourish note at the very end of the flavor. It’s light yet felt in the palate. I like the brettiness and malt structure. I’d like less of the fruity note. Lovely otherwise.
