Smeared body of a light golden hay color with a thinnish white topping of foam that swifts away as quickly as it arrives. A few sprinkles of lacing dot the glass.
Aroma is fairly light and wheaty based with a very low amount of pale lemon bready sweetness and just a titch of peppery spices and grass.
Taste is very much like what the aroma hints way to as its again, a bit light and more wheaty than Saison. Seemingly more like a Wit with a stirring amount of light wheaty snap and sweetness underneath. Barely there amounts of grassy, peppery spice make a nudge as it finishes wet and watery without much zip remaining nor malty richness. Which, unlike this, most Saisons tend to create.
For the most part, its the body where this lacks the most and hampers the effects of what the flavors really could provide. Fairly watery, quick, wet, and light with just nip of solid wheaty snap and spice with some whisps of yeast and grassy hops.
More like a Wit than any Saison(See/drink Fantome or Dupont), Farm Girl is a way lighter, Summery rendition of a simplified, easy drinkin' wheat based brew.
