Kiss the Lips has a surprisingly clear light golden body with very few carbonation bubbles slowly rising to the surface. The crisply white head grew to two fingers and fell slowly to a skimming with a decent collar. The patches of head left atop the body have the crazy appearance of mold out of control; thick in spots and not in others. A few patches of lacing are left here and there.

The nose has a surprising amount of freshly squeezed lemon juice and candied peel to it that I thoroughly enjoy. The malt presence is very subtle and in the form of dry biscuits. A mild honey note combines with a floral hoppiness and makes for delicious nose candy. This IPA is unlike most others and although it's not incredibly hoppy it is awesome smelling.

The flavor follows the aroma closely. The lemon peel isn't quite as vibrant but it is in place in a good way. The malt is simple but fits well with a honey sweetness and biscuit dryness. The floral hops are mild but in place and when they weave into the lemon qualities it makes for a damn fine, easy drinking IPA.

The body has a moderate feel to it while the carbonation is soft. The finish is slightly dry with no stick left behind. A mild, bright bitterness hits the cheeks and sides of the tongue.

Kiss the Lips is a sessionable IPA if I've ever drank one. It's not a giant hop bomb but the lemon qualities are so refreshing I can't drink just one. A perfect summer drinker.

I've enjoyed nearly all I've sampled from Lake Louie and Kiss the Lips is no exception. Give this one a try during these warm summer months. It's a good brew to kick back and enjoy a few.

A - Pours a rusty orange body with a little bit of haze to it. Small head on the pour is bright white, then turns into wisps on the surface of the beer.

S - Strong hop profile. Piney and citrusy. Caramel malt backdrop.

T - Much sweeter and less hoppy than the smell. Strawberry sweetness with light sweet malts. Some grapefruity sweetness and absolutely no hop bite to it. Taste doesn't live up to the scent.

M - On the light side of medium bodied. Carbonation could be beefed up a touch.

D - Easy drinker but I would prefer something with a little more flavor.

Thanks to nflmvp for this one.
