Wow, what a looker of a brew! Gorgeously thick pour of heavy browned bread settling dark chocolate brown. Lushly topped tall, creamy, and frothy with a sandy colored foam that lasts and billows forever. It settles ever so slowly to an immensely thick covering that stays put and places some thickly set small sheeting of thick lacing.

Aroma is quite nice with a flattened out, dullishly sweet breadyness. Some dryish cocoa bits, grasses/hay, and a slender slice of paled banana thrown in there.

Taste is fairly mellowing and clean without a whole lot of length to it. Briefly tanged in a sweet breadyness with a twist of orange candy and banana peels. Has a sublte and well placed floating dryness and poof of cocoa dryness in the finish with a simple slice of grassyness to it as well. Not bad, but there's just not enough of its flavor that holds on the palate or bolds into the taste buds.

Body is clean, slender, within a lower mediumness in body. Sweet, lightly bready with a tang of dark wheat to it that talks completely of a Dunkel.

A pretty decent drinkin' Dunkel, but there's better out there.
