A big thanks to Beer Monkey for this bottle.

A - This beer almost cascades without the nitro that usually brings this effect. Pours a crystal clear mahogony body. Huge pillowy tan head on top that isn't going anywhere. Looks almost like mashed potatoes sitting on top of my beer.

S - It's been too long since I have had a German beer. This is some of the great aroma that I remember. Sweet roasted malts with a touch of caramel. Nutty. Dark fruits are lying in here somewhere.

T - Nutty, sweet caramel malt. Burnt hop bittering. Big grain taste. All of this seems so simple, but it is so, so good. Every sip makes me want to take another. Vanilla, figs, and prune are also present here.

M - Medium bodied. Silky smooth. Perfect.

D - Wow, if I could get more of this I would have a lot of it. If only I could have it on tap in the Kegerator.
