11.2 oz(330cl) bottle: Blackened brown semi glossy body capped well with a medium sized crown of firm, creamy tan foam. Which diminshes to a thick skim and a thicker collar. Lots of fantasic lacing painted about in patterns like that of butterfly wings.
Aroma is straight up cold creamed coffee, semi blackened malt roastyness, dusty dark chocolate bits, and a dark berry sweetness emerging upon deeper wiffs as well as some molasses and fig notes. A complexing nose thats very nice to take in. Perhaps not overly huge like some coffee stouts/porters out there, but its worth every wiff.
Tangy, mid-ranged mild taster with a semi roasty core of coffee, tanged lightly with a heavy and dark berry-like presense melding within. Chocolate makes up some more of the tang and sweetness levels along with a small portion to some bittering dark chocolate notes. A small mix of molasses shows late in the finish as it holds a solid tone of bittering coffee and chocolate notes for good length. Again, fairly complex, but nothing overpowering. Just a smooth ride of easy going dark stuff.
Smooth, creamy, tangy, dark, and fun with a nice balance of roast and darkly sweet tang. Seems about medium with a low carbonation level of goodness that creates a well constructed amount of easy drinkability.
A very solid stout! Osu! Too bad about the price tag though, seeing its from Japan and all.

I got this as a gift from a friend. Bottle poured into a pint tumbler.
A: Poured a nice, dark, black which as a red hues when held to light. Did not pour with much head, but what stayed provided some nice lacing.
S: Coffee, Malt, Nuts, and black cherries. There is a faint smell of alcohol. Nice full aroma.
T: Espresso coffee is well represented. It is sweet but it has a bitter finish that balances the beer. You can also taste malt, chocolate, and caramel.
M: Creamy with a medium carbonation. Coats the mouth and sticks with you for a while.
D: Good drinking beer as an after dinner beer. Good for dessert or just to have a good, rich beer. Will definitely drink again. Awesome stout.

A great little extra received from Jay23, thanks!
A very attractive beer, dark brown and almost no light passes through it; at least two inches of mocha colored foam. Good retention.
A strong aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate chip cookies, strong cocoa, and malted milk. A pretty intense aroma as soon as I pour the beer, then the aroma is dominated by espresso and coffee beans. I’m a sucker for coffee! There’s also a dry graham cracker or corn flakes aroma as it warms up, and some hints of oats as well. Mmm, molasses and maple syrup as I’m getting down to the last couple of sips. Very sweet smelling and lots of malt aroma.
The taste is a bit thin, compared to the aroma but still very good. Coffee and chocolate malts followed by some roasted barley, toast, bitter chocolate, and malted milk-ball candy.
As I stated in the taste, the mouthfeel is also thin and a bit watery. The beer is decently carbonated with a dry and slightly bitter and roasted finish.
Hmm, both the taste and mouthfeel seem to get slightly better as the beer comes to room temperature, as it should, so I must bump up half a point for that.
I enjoyed this one very much, wish I had this one easily available.
