Pours a clear copper color, with a bubbly white head. Good head retention, and excellent lacing.
Aromas of malt, and floral/citrus hops. Tangerine. Not overly done, very pleasant.
Taste really does follow the nose. Bitter pine and citrus hops, with a strong malt backbone. Aftertaste is fairly clean, nice and bitter, right to the end.
This APA is light to medium in body, smooth, with good carbonation.
Very nice example of an American Pale Ale. Nicely balanced, very drinkable. A good session beer candidate. I could easily enjoy several of these... if not more.
Recommended.

A - Pour produces a two inch light tan head. From the top, the head looks really sturdy, but from the sides, it's loose, uniform sized bubbles. Good retention and sticky lacing. Body is a medium amber and crystal clear.
S - Stronger than expected firm bitterness right on the nose. Lightly toasted, bready malts. Hops are both grassy and some pine sap. Very nice aroma for a pale ale.
T - Starts off bready and sweet at the same time. Touch of cinnamon, on toasted multigrain bread. Touch of marmalade sweetness in there. Hop bitterness comes in, very grassy and earthy. Caramel flavor sort of combines in with the hops, coming in only an instant later. Aftertaste of lingering bitterness on the tongue.
M - Medium bodied, but sturdy. Slightly biting carbonation.
Overall - Nice pale ale here that isn't really like your run of the mill pale ale. More toasty and with more assertive hops. Well worth giving a try.
