A: Sort of a cloudy pumpkin color with a few meandering streams of bubbles. Head is medium sized, made up of tight ivory colored bubbles.
S: I’m not totally aware of what heather smells like…but I know what beer smells like. This has a very specific smell which I can only contribute to the heather. Sort of smells like honey and maple syrup combined, violets, wet hay and saltines.
T: It starts off with delicate wisps of heather around the palate. Subtle flavors at work here. Some clover honey sweetness, trademark limestone water and spicy yeast/hops. Not very complex, fairly straightforward.
M: Full bodied and creamy.
D: Decent beer with simple flavors. Enjoyable but not noteworthy.
